Kaštiel Kubínyi, a very unique project which literally came to life under the hands of the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kozáčik. Their love for craftsmanship, tradition and history led them to this tasteful reconstruction of a spacious Kaštiel estate, which dates back to the 17. century. 

In 2010, thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Kozáčik, this extensive cluster of premises, which consist of a castle, horse stable and a house for the castellan, was given a new story. They turned the castellan’s stone house, which was originally intended as their vacation spot, into their home. Among other things, a breath of fresh air was brought to the stables and castle itself, resulting in a stunning boutique hotel with a restaurant. 

In addtition to the historical castle, a modern timeless parquet floor with hand planed finish was delivered for this project. The brushed and leached treatment of the floor gives the interior a cosy feeling and is the definition of a successful fusion of traditional Slovakian home and a modern rustic design. For the photoshoot purposes, we accessorized with Maimana hand woven carpets, which in our opinion complement the interior perfectly.
